How to Find Archived Emails in Gmail on Android, iOS, Window and Mac

Hello friends, Today I will share a method on how to find Archived emails in Gmail. I will share a shortcut code which will show you only Archived emails. You can use this code and just search it on your Gmail. You can find your Archived emails from the inbox mail.

Sometimes we are confused that we have to keep an email or delete an email. But deleting is never an option because once it’s gone from Trash, then there is no way to get that email back. So at that point, several people send their emails to the Archive folder. Archive folder is best as we can always bring emails back to our inbox. It is also used some time to hide the emails as you can keep all your emails safe in Archive and person will never know even when they use your Gmail.

There are plenty of Advantages of using Archived email, but several people have faced a problem. It is not a big problem but several people face difficulty in finding Archived email. Suppose you are having several hundreds or thousands of email in your Archive then it is hard to find an email, as there is no search option working. At that time, it becomes almost impossible to find archived emails in Gmail. But still, there are few ways which you can use to find any type of Archived emails in Gmail.

How to Find Archived Emails in Gmail

The biggest problem is when we Archive an email then to view that email we need to Open Gmail > All Mail and then we see all existing mails with Archived mail.

It is hard for the office or any professional and these days even an individual if you are daily receiving emails. It will mix your emails with Archive mail and then we need to manually find our Archive email which is a very tough job to do.

How to Find Archived Emails in Gmail on Android, iOS or PC/Laptop

We will be sharing different methods for both Android and PC. In PC you can use this method on any OS like Mac or Windows. All you need to open is Gmail on your Internet browser and on the phone, you can simply use the Android or iOS app. I will share a few shortcuts that you can use to find your Archived emails in Gmail.

  1. Open the Gmail account.
  2. On the left side, where options are shown, scroll down and click on More.
  3. Now click on All Mail.
  4. Write the sender name in search box “-in:Sent -in:Draft -in:Inbox has :nouserlabels”

Make sure you know the sender name or the subject name. You can simply use this command to find Archived emails in Gmail. We are using no user labels as it will automatically filter out all the labelled email. So we will get only Archived email. The method is the same for both Smartphone and PC.

It is an advance method like rather than using All mail. Users can get a particular email if they use this command and will only get there Archived emails. However, this method is also not 100%, but it will increase the chances to see all your Archived email. And if you know the sender name or subject like, then you can use that command directly and get the Archived email.

On the internet when you search then there are plenty of apps or extension avaible to find Archived emails in Gmail or a lot of things. I will never recommend you to use that thing.
