Note: If you want the person accessing your Google Drive folder to comment, Change “Viewers” to “Commenter”
If you want the person accessing your Google Drive folder to edit, Change “Viewers” to “Editor”

How to Make a Google Drive Folder Public on Android or iPhone

If you are on your Android or iPhone,  you can still make the Google Drive folder public. Make sure you are using the official application downloaded from the store.

1. Open Google Drive app on your Android or iPhone.
2. Click on the three dots next to the folder’s name, which you want to make public. A list of options appears.
3. Click on Manage people and links options from the list. The Who has access window appears.
4. Under the Link settings section, click on Change below Restricted.
5. Now, tap on Restricted and select the Anyone with the link option.
6. Make the necessary change to Viewer or Commenter or Editor.
7. Click on the icon next to the Link settings to copy the new URL.

Your link making the Google Drive folder public has been copied and is ready to be shared.
