  1. Describe HTML5

HTML5 is a newer version of HyperText Markup Language. It supports many of the new tags, graphics, and multimedia items to enhance the structure of the web page. Basically, it is the current version of the HTML. It is introduced to work and to be supported by any type of device like mobile, tablets, laptops, etc.

  1. Explain the need for mentioning <!DOCTYPE HTML> at the beginning of HTML page

The <!DOCTYPE HTML> tag shows that the current version of the HTML is 5. It is also used to make the web page as a document type which can be seen by the tag’s name. Also, it is required to add this tag otherwise, the HTML5 commands cannot work well and will misbehave. It is a kind of header file which must be included in every HTML5 based web page.

First and the foremost the basic need behind the introduction of HTML5 was to make the web page more graphics oriented and provide some inbuilt as well as ready to go tools for the developers.   1. Explain graphics in HTML5

In HTML5, there are two types of graphics can be used which are SVG and Canvas. SVG is very useful if you are creating a web page for mobile or tablet. Where Canvas is useful if you are creating a web page where graphics can be drawn.

  1. Explain two web storage in HTML5

Two web storages are Session storage and Local storage. In session storage, the session is closed when the user is gone from the website. Where Local storage used the local memory of the browser to store data and it does not get vanished when the user is gone from the site.
