Windows 10 is one of the good windows & operating systems. There are also some issues with windows 10 like black screen, no sound & one of the biggest problems is Windows 10 WiFi issue. Windows 10 WiFi issue is one of the major issues in windows 10 it shows issues in connecting it with the operating system. There is no wifi connection available in windows 10 after windows 7,8 or 8.1. We will also get the users question related to windows 10 issues & the questions are like that.

This command will create an HTML file that one can open in the browser from the command prompt.

Cable modem or ISP modem router (Internet service provider) issue

  • Make sure that there is no issue with your Internet service provider (ISP) or your cable modem.
    If it persists then, please contact your ISP.
  • In the search bar type command prompt followed by pressing it or right click on the prompt and then selecting Run as administrator and then YES.
  • Type ipconfig in the command prompt.

Now, you can look for IP address available next to Default gateway, for example, 192.155.1.1

  • Now in the prompt.
    You can type ping <DefaultGateway> followed by pressing enter. For example ping 192.155.1.1 and enter.

The result will look like

Ping statistics for 192.155.1.1: Packet: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 4ms, Maximum = 5ms, Average = 4ms.

If your ping displays similar to the above and still you are unable to connect to the internet, then you might have issues with your internet service provider or the modem.

Windows Firewall Block Program

In rare cases, there might be network issues due to firewall software as sometimes they prevent the system from the network connections. With this, you can know if your network issue is due to the firewall by turning it on and visiting any site. In order to turn off firewall temporarily, software steps may vary from software one is using. In this case, you can check the documentation and learn how to turn off your firewall temporarily.

Note: Make sure that you turn your firewall on as soon as possible as keeping it off keeps your system open for hackers and several viruses.

How to Turn Off Windows Firewall Windows 10

  • In the search bar type Command Prompt followed by pressing or right click command prompt.
  • Now, select Run as administrator and then YES.
  • Type netshadvfirewall set all profiles state off in the command prompt and click enter.
  • Now, try opening any of your websites and check whether it connects.
  • Now, to turn on firewalls type netshadvfirewall set all profiles state on at command prompt and press enter.
