1. Check Your Hardware Connections

When your Discord mic not working, first see that your microphone is properly connected. With any type of microphone, be it a USB, a 3.5mm headset, or a Bluetooth one, make sure the connection is secure. For USB microphones, try plugging them into a different USB port. For wired microphones, check that the 3.5mm jack is in the right port. If you’re using a wireless mic, check that it is paired with your device.

2. Try Your Microphone in Other Applications

Test out your microphone in apps like Zoom, Skype, or the built-in voice recorder on your computer. If the mic works in those apps but not in Discord, the issue is likely in Discord’s settings. 8. Restart Your Computer or Discord
