This method, we will use a Bluetooth transmitter to connect Bluetooth headphones with Xbox Series X|S.
- Connect your Bluetooth transmitter to your Xbox series X|S controller 3.5mm audio port.
- Turn on the transmitter after attaching it to the controller.
- Take your Bluetooth device and press and hold down the pairing button.
- Wait for it and it will find your transmitter.
Watch out for the lights to know if that’s connected as you won’t be able to see it.
- Your Bluetooth is connected and should work now.
Tip: if this didn’t work, connect your Xbox series X|S with your headphones through USB cable. And then turn your headphones on! Once you are connected then you can unplug the USB cable.
Also, ensure that you have your headphones 100%charged. Most Bluetooth headphones have an inbuilt mic, and they are not supported with transmitters.

Method 2. Compatible Headsets
You can get yourself a compatible headset with your Xbox series X|S and you have the way to go. Compatible headsets have their own USB transmitters which make it easier to connect them, and can easily be used while gaming.

Method 3. Smart TV
You can use a your Smart Tv or Gaming Monitor, in case you have one. As these displays will use Bluetooth natively making it easier to connect. Connecting your headphones to your display is a good option if you do not want to use a transmitter.
Note: If none of this works, then contact your manufacturer, the dongle you are using may not be compatible with the Xbox series X|S and you need to gift yourself a new one!
