To simplify your phone buying process, we have a Phone Score Calculator that will really help you to decide if your phone is worth buying! Keep in mind that these calculations are in no way official or correct, but if they work for us, they should for you too! You’ll need a pen, a paper and a calculator for this!

Calculate your phone score now. we have a Phone Score Calculator that will really help you to decide if your phone is worth buying.

(The calculations are not difficult or hard to learn, but you’ll have to do it properly for them to be right!).

Write down the following things on a piece of paper… –

RAM : (If it is in MB, multiply by 10, if it is in GB, then multiply by 1000). So if the RAM reads: 512MB, you should write 5120. If it reads 1GB, you should write 10,000.

BATTERY :  Write down the battery power in mAh (e.g. 2000).

CAMERA : Write down the Camera power in MP (and multiply by 1000). So, if it reads 8MP, write down 8000.

PROCESSOR : Write down the processor specifications. If it is dual core and 1GHz, write down 2*1000 = 2000. If it is quad core and 2GHz, write down 4*2000=8000.

MEMORY : Write down the memory (along with the expandable memory and multiply by 1000). So, if it reads 32GB, write down 32,000. -Last, but not the least,

PRICE [USD] : Write down the phone cost in US Dollars (use a converter online if necessary) and multiply by 100. So, if the cost is $200, write down 20,000.

Finally, add it all up. For this example, it would be- 10,000+2000+8000+2000+32,000+20,000 = 74,000/- Divide this by 65,000 and we get 1.13 from Phone Score Calculator. Always divide by 65,000. We are going to use this score to decide how good our choice is.

CONCLUSION

Well, basically, the closer your phone’s score is to 1 or slightly above 1, the better your choice. So, if your phone’s score comes up to 1.25, you’ve got a pretty good phone! If it is near 2, you might be going for a slightly more expensive or high.
